第一次住美高梅，是冲着亲子主题来的。当天下午两点钟到的酒店，办入住时前台说没打扫出来要等，最后等到3:20分左右入住，前台的服务真心配不上这个酒店的价格，尤其是取卡的时候是让到前台旁边的玻璃房取的，那里工作人员是我见过态度最牛逼的，比如，拿上卡我问他“有需要拿的单据吗”，他很不耐烦的抬头（他坐着我站着）说“要什么单子？就房卡”，没有你就说没有啊，非得呛人一下么？差评。再说房间，豪华海，是侧面看海，住的建筑是跟大海基本垂直的，房内设施较陈旧，被子上的味道不太好。酒店的早餐品种不算少，但客观来讲，对比之前住过的天房、希尔顿等等，这里的味道我要给最低分。再说亲子，有孩子的用品和很小的一个泳池，儿童游乐区不大，组织的活动还可以，这个相对还好一些。酒店住的人非常多，泳池就不那么干净，游泳的感受不好。酒店距离百花谷比较近，购物吃饭比较方便，步行大概十来分钟就到了，东西价格基本跟机场一个价。
