  Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too.

  H?tel is well located but right now is having a huge remodelation so you ll have noise during the day. You are normally out visiting places, but sometimes we wanted to come back to rest for one or two hours, but with the noise was imposible. I guess this will be temporal. Hotel is old.

  UrCove by HYATT Beijing Forbidden City - Low as ￥626.00

  Stay at UrCove Forbidden City fell short of expectations (esp when considering other similar UrCove hotel standards). First, room was very old, and needs a renovation. Lacks modern USB ports to charge without China powerheads. It was impossible to rest comfortably at night due to loud random noises from the street and poor noise insulation from neighbouring rooms. Second, construction was constantly ongoing and made it impossible to stay in your room. Last, service staff was rude at times, and do not offer proper hotel services. For example, bought a Swiss roll that needed to be stored in the cooler and asked the lobby staff whether he could assist to store in their fridge. Man just flat out said no and took the Swiss roll and stored it without refrigeration and spoiled my chilled cake. Unacceptable, poor, rude, unprofessional. Not deserving of the Hyatt label and brand. Strongly recommend you book another hotel that leaves up to their 4-star rating and not support this as it is a scam for your money. Was left with a melted Swiss Roll back to take home to my family because of the lobby staff unprofessionalism. Worst Hyatt stay ever hands down.

  The location is great, with major attractions within walking distance. During our stay, the hotel exterior was undergoing upgrading works, which I understand were being done by the city authorities. At check-in, the staff informed us that the room category we booked might be affected by noise and proactively upgraded us to another room - a lovely touch from the staff.

  The hotel location and service staff are fantastic, however, the hotel is quite old and the upkeep of the rooms left a lot to be desired. When I initially arrived at the hotel, the bedding in my room was dirty with dark mark. I raised this with hotel staff and was promptly moved to an “upgraded” room (which was strangely basketball themed?). While the new room had relatively clean bedding, there were marks, dust or general wear on most of the walls, furniture and decor. It doesn’t feel like Hyatt standard, and I’m not sure it’s worth the price for the location alone.

  在携程订的，太失望了，4.5分评分太虚高，酒店外立年搭的是脚手架，窗户外面蒙了一层塑料膜导致窗户打不开，房间里一股霉味，入住体验最差的一次。

  酒店地理位置很好，走10分钟就有商场，很多餐厅，去景点路程不会太远。 cafe露台可以看到故宫！ 虽然入住期间酒店外围有工程，但没有太大噪音，房间某些位置有点老旧，冷气头两天不太行，之后叫人来看一下，就无问题了。 大堂经理包子服务态度很好，有什么问题都乐于解答。

  Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The receptionist, Hero, was extremely kind and spoke English, which made everything much easier. The room was very good and very spacious. The pillows were so comfortable that I wanted to take them home. The shower had excellent water pressure as well. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection of food. Overall, a great experience.

  The room was very big with 2 rooms, 1 with queen bed and the other with 2 twin beds. 2 restrooms as well. Compare to the other family room, the family suite is not newly renovated, it looks a little old. The location is at the end of wangfujing steeet. But overall we had a great stay. Had our free laundry as well!

  Good location and convenient access to nearby attractions. However, the hotel is quite old, and the cleanliness needs improvement as there was hair in the room upon check-in. The facilities and service were average. Overall, the location is the hotel’s strongest point.
