Room had a heater so it was nice and warm. Everything as pictured, homestay is fairly new, been around for 2+ years. Do note that the bed is on the hard side, seems like the preference in this part of China. Owners are friendly and helpful, felt like going to a friend's place to stay. Offered local fruits while they were eating. Homestay also provides lots of small items that you might need e.g. down jackets, sunhats, umbrellas, very thoughtfully done. It's also located near the perimeter of the ancient town (where cars are not allowed) so it's just a short distance to drag your luggage along the cobblestone streets. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite places to stay! This is such a little gem. The location is great and close by to everything! The hosts went out of their way to help us! You can do your washing for free; they serve delicious coffee and they can help with any trips / transport between Shangri-La and Lijiang. They can speak English which is really helpful for foreigners! I cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you for making our stay so great!
Just down the street from them is a great restaurant called The Olive Bistro with delicious food and great breakfast!

This Inn was recommended by my colleague and I was definitely not disappointed! The accommodation itself is conveniently located in the ancient town so it's near many shops, restaurants and services. Its look is modern, spacious but also quite cozy too. It's clean, has hot showers, electric blanket and all the amenities you really need to stay and explore Shangri-La.
July (the owner) and her dog ChiChi are what makes this Inn so special. Communication is easy and she is very friendly to talk to. Her English is perfect, so this place is great for English-speaking foreigners wanting to visit and stay here. She goes out of her way to help you in any way she can. In my case, she recommended places to go and how to get there, places for Covid tests and arranging my ride back to Lijiang Airport. I suggest anyone to stay at Snowlake Inn :)

Pics online are exactly what you see in person. Lovely manger July and her dog Chi chi. Would return! She even cooked dinner as low season/CNY.

Nice room decoration and warm in room in winter time, finally can take a hot shower after a tiring day. Staff was super nice too.
