海鸥饭店在黄浦江与苏州河交汇处，紧邻俄罗斯上海领事馆和外白渡桥，所以观景位置极佳，在众多两岸四、五星酒店中属于性价比最高的老牌星级饭店，酒店内硬件设施比较老但卫生尚可，有小型停车院，餐饮自带景观平台可无死角看黄浦江两岸景色，强烈推荐住江景房，可以看黄浦江两岸风貌，夜景非常美。酒店步行到南京路10分钟，周边有类似大壶春本帮小吃店味道很好，酒店附近100m有星巴克。步行至地铁10号线天潼路站10分钟左右，可以游览周边很多著名景点。

位置很好，江景房坐在窗台就可以看美景，行政套房在上海算面积也还可以，但设备老旧，毛巾都烂边了，感觉不太好。
