上海大厦原名“百老汇”(Broadway的音译）大厦，1934年为英商所建。1951年5月1日由上海市人民政府改名为“上海大厦”，现为挂牌五星级涉外饭店。她曾是上海这座美丽城市的标志，窗外望去与熙熙攘攘的外白渡桥共同构筑了一道美丽的风景线。
上海大厦位于上海市中心，身处外滩， 到浦东新区、上海火车站皆仅约10分钟车程。
从大门口的门童到大堂客房餐厅的工作人员，一直都保持着笑脸相迎，给人一种宾至如归的感觉。住店客人可以免费停车，中餐和晚餐自助餐除特殊日子可以参加满一送一活动。
这次安排乡下亲戚很满意，下次还会再次光临。
