竹园宾馆原是清朝末年邮政大臣盛宣怀的私邸，又传说曾是大太监安德海的花园。自清末以来，王荫泰、马汉三、董必武、康生等诸多历史名人相继在此居住。宾馆位置也很好，出门就是地铁站，去后海，南锣鼓巷步行就能到。
